Hi
Overall the image has a nice feel, I like the colours you choose. Even though I'm not sure what exactly you want to show, you used a lot of simbolism in this piece that could be seen in many different ways. While it is easy to put in simbols into an image, it is not as easy to get those simbols to say what you want them to say. In here, I see a girl, pretty young that went out just before a storm and died just before the storm dissapeared (you didn't add any rain, therefore I guess the storm has passed this area and is now raining down on another place). You could mean that the storm was meant to show her life, having been windy, cold, wet, dangerous and beautifull, fast-lifed and short in the overall view. Therefore it fits that the girl is yound and you didn't use and old woman in the image as I think the background image of a storm wouldn't really have fitted. The light seems to have just started hitting the girl, showing she just died seconds ago and her body and soul still are one. It wouldn't be too late to 'save' her life yet, but there is nobody around.
I like it as well how you used the tree as her last place on earth and not a house or some other man-made structure. It shows a link many people seem to have lost, the link to the circle of life we so try to keep out of our mind by taking down ruins and replacing them by glass structures.

Vision Yes, you obviously have had a vision before making the piece. It might get lost a bit in the flood of girl-in-setting-photomanipulations, but it obviously is there, even though it might be hard to see it at first view.
Originality Well, it's hard to be hundred percent original these days. Every idea (at least in terms of art) as been tried out already, sometimes with better results than at other times. I think the whole image looses a lot of originality because you used a girl and there are just too many of these manips around already. It would have been a lot different if you'd used a male model!
Technique Not too bad, seeing that you successfully transformed a sunny background into a stormy one. You didn't use too many elements neither, which shows that you know how hard it is to bring them all together and that it is often better to use less. You used pretty intense lighting on this image which creates a bit of difficulty when it comes to putting in the shadows. The light parts are really good, but I feel that there could be more shadow around her head and less below her feet as it doesn't totally match the direction of your lightsource.
Even though, I'm not sure if it's the right place to put it in here: I sometimes ask myself what kind of resolution normal monitors have. This is far too big for my monitor which makes it hard to see the the whole image at once and to get a good overlook as I have to scroll up and down as well as left and right. As you aren't the only one putting up images this big, I guess my laptop monitor is just smaller than the average desktop monitor is. I'd still prefer a smaller version of this image.
Impact It's not bad, the lighting attracts the viewer towards your image. But then you don't have anything specific to make the viewer stay longer at your image and see and think about all those little symbols. The overall setting of girl-in-landscape-doing-pretty-nothing needs to be really really well-executed to keep viewers interested longer and is therefore not the most easy way of getting a message across.

Overall, as I said earlier, this is nicely done even though it somehow hides in a crowd.
All right, sorry for writing such an essay and sorry for being a bit late, as this was written in courtesy of *devCRIT

Vision
:star::star::star::star-half::star-empty:
The lighting in the model is awesome! But the background is too bright considering that there is a storm. I think it should have a darker feel to make the girl stand out. And the water, the color of the water is the reflection of the sky, seeing that you sky is drak blue and black, the water should've reflected at least a bit of that color instead of being all green. I think the

Originality
:star::star::star::star-empty::star-empty:
The idea isn't very original. Thinking a original idea nowadays is really hard. But I think you put it really well using an asleep person being awaken by a call, instead of the usual a person-following-the-light

kind of calling.

Technique
:star::star::star::star::star-empty:
I think you've already been doing this kind of stuff for while. But I think you still have to watch out for the little details.

Impact
:star::star::star::star-half::star-empty:
The is not that strong, considering the idea is often used, but good enough for someone to be curious and get a better look when they see it as thumbnail.

Overall
:star::star::star::star-half::star-empty:
The overall deviation is really pretty but it lacks that "wow" factor. You have lots of potential, I know it. Keep up the awesome work! :thumbsup:

yayy, thanksss!!! :hug: this is what i need, someone to tell me what's the matter wit my deviation, coz i have no tutor .. :(
1.About Vision, i thought the scenery would be brighter because of the light beam, but it's not in your opinion :P , thank you for telling me this :hug:
2. About Originality, sometimes the idea popped up just like that when we saw the model, the background, or by reading some contest description. Naaa, this is another lame of me, i didn't consider it first whether somebody had use the similar idea or not, coz when i started to work, i forget almost everything ( :doh: ). May be i've seen similar artworks and when i saw the stocks the resonance - idea surfacing unconciousnally :P .. Ok, i'll be very careful choosing how my deviation would become, and try to create something much more original :hug:
3. Technique, well... i don't think i'm good enough coz.. i didn't learn much.. :blushes:
i realize too many trial and errors i think :P ..too many "what if"s while nobody can help me discussing about it :(
4. Impact ,yeah well.. back to the idea issue :giggle: i will try to sharpen my mind then :hug: :hug:
5. Overall, this is what i need.. a critique or even more critiques, to share what's in the viewer's mind and tell me what's should i do for better improvements. Once againnn... thank you for your time, to review my deviation, thank you for *devCRIT 's courtesy , really appreciate it much :hug:

You're welcome :)
I'm always glad to help :hug:
You don't really have to have a tutor... practice and interest, I think that enough ^_^ and there are lots of tutorials around DA maybe you can check them out.
Don't think too much about originality, I think it's just hard to do something original when there are already so many other photomanips out there
As long as it's not too cliche I think it's still awesome! :)
If you want to discuss something don't hesitate to ask others :)
